She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Mensen and Mary Ann Mensen (Engelken); her husband Ronald Wendt of Mary's Catholic Church; her in-laws, Wilber and Emily Wendt; her brother-in-law Arnie Fortman; and her nephew Carl Casper.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Meyer (Jamie), Ken (Heidi Baker), Sam (Stephanie), Randy and Roger (Lauren); her grandchildren, Emily, Wesley, Maggie, Isaac, Elisabeth, Cole and Kaylee; her siblings, Jim Mensen (Jeanette), Agnes Burns (Don), Carolyn Wilson (Allen), Donna Thomsen (Bill), Sandy Kass (Bob), Janet Fortman, Bill Mensen (Lisa), Diane Even (Mike), Teresa Mensen and Ruth Boge (Al); and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Dingman (Don), Jodee Schumacher (Todd) and Renee Tibbot (Ed). She is also survived by grandchildren and spending time with her family – especially with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (201 N Ford St, Anamosa, IA 52205). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at the Forest Chapel Cemetery.
