Norbert Bertling Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2023, at the age of 80, Norbert Bertling in Worthington, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Bertling and Darlene Bertling; his brother Alan; his brother-in-law Elden Hanson; and his niece Shelly Huber.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bertling; his children, Tammy Walkner (Mark), Dennis Bertling (Bobbi McCoy) and Kathy Joiner (Kevin); his son-in-law Sam Huber; his stepchildren, Chuck Kuebrich (Susie) and Kim Kuebrich-Yordi; his sisters, Barbara Catlett (Bill), Alice Taylor and Marilyn Hanson; and his aunt Rosie Beadle. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed toward the Norbert Bertling Memorial Fund c/o Lensing Funeral and Cremation Service. Norbert's unwavering dedication, innovative spirit, and lasting contributions to the towing and recovery industry will continue to be cherished and remembered by all whose lives he touched.
