She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Trenkamp and Mary Trenkamp (Kremer); her husband Roman J. Bertling; and her brothers, Joe, Frank, Ray, Wilfred, Tony and John Trenkamp.
She is survived by: her sons, Steve Bertling of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tom Bertling of Worthington and Mike Bertling (Amy) of Worthington; her grandchildren, Noah, Anna, Cara Bertling of Worthington and Megan DeBoard (Will) of North Liberty; her great grandchildren, Declan, Gavin, Jaxon and Brinley DeBoard; her sister Donna Snitker of Waukon; and her in-laws, Mary Bertling of Dyersville, Mary Trenkamp of Dubuque, Patricia Trenkamp of Monticello, Betty Ockenfels of Iowa City and Donna Manternach of Monticello.
