He is survived by: his wife Lynne Recker; his siblings, John Krogman (Susan) of Cascade, IA and Sandy Gravel (Duane) of Dyersville; his parents-in-law, Nancy Recker of Humboldt, IA, Don Recker (Ruth) of Dubuque, IA, Ruth DeShaw (Jim) of Huntsville, TX, Glenn Recker (Lin) of Asbury, IA, Roger Recker (Rosemary) of Earlville, IA, LuAnn Bruggemann (Charlie) of Montezuma, IA and Randy Recker (Lynn) of Dyersville, IA; and his godchildren, Anne Dolphin and Greg Gravel. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
