She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Paulson and Dolly Paulson (Lansing); and her husband Arliss Nielsen. She is survived by: her children, Randy Nielsen (Jill) of Mason City, Todd Nielsen (Anne) of Webster City and Shelly Hogan (Scott) of North Oaks, MN; her grandchildren, Tyler Nielsen (Tara), Bennett Nielsen, Corbin Nielsen (Taylor), Andrew Nielsen, Lana Clark (Dan), Krista Hogan (Alex) and Miranda Hogan; her great grandchildren, Tory, Tate, Tessa Nielsen, Eliza, Callan, Jackson Clark and Ellis Nielsen; and her sister Barbara Giese (Ron).
