He was predeceased by: his mother Ardith Cox (Benson); his grandparents, Versal, Ida Cox (Wimer), Lloyd and Edna Benson (Gray); his grandson Oliver Neary; and his niece Kelsie Flint.
He is survived by: his father Tom Cox of Woodbine, Iowa; his wife Nancy Cox of Logan, Iowa; his stepson Shannon Neary (Eliza); his stepgrandsons, Patrick, Liam and Theodore of Troy; his stepsons, Adam Bellis of Missouri Valley, Iowa and Bryce Moore of Missouri Valley, Iowa; and his sister Tammy (Mark Flint) of Missouri Valley, Iowa. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
