He is survived by: his wife Betty "Buff" Anderson; his children, Nick and Kadie; his grandchildren, Abby, Zoey and Maggie; his siblings, William Melby of Dunlap, Sue Melby of Boxholm, Jody (Marty Heffernan) of Webster, Kelly Melby of Omaha and Shelly Melby of Richmond, Virginia; and his sister-in-law Sharon Melby of Arion, Iowa. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
