He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal McHugh and Flora McHugh (Barnum); his brothers, Royal and Deloid McHugh; his sister-in-law Janet McHugh; his aunts and uncles, Harrietta Nicholson, Glen Barnum, Susan Simpson, Margaret Stevens, Harry Barnum and Johnny Barnum; and his great-niece Isabel Gialdini.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Bartlett; his children, Tanya Martin (Scott), April Johnson (James), Garland McHugh and John McHugh; his grandchildren, Brittaney, Sadie, Jakub, Rian, Nakiah, Madison, Blythe and Brandt; and his siblings, Sandra McHugh, Lyle McHugh, Marilyn Hintz (Scott) and Karen Riedell (Paul). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
