With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ellen Boyden (Woodbine, Iowa), who passed away on October 17, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilson Neely and Bernice Eugenia Barkley (Peterson); her husband Roy Boyden; her siblings, William Bethene (Billy) and Helen Bethene; and her sister-in-law Arlisse Barkley.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Boyden (Theresa) of Cedar Rapids, David Boyden (Susan) of Carlsbad, Thomas Boyden (Kim) of Seattle and Beth Fouts (Paul) of Woodbine; her grandchildren, Nathan, Nicole, Jimmy, Brianne, Kyle, Matt, Carly and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Allison, Courtney, Beckham, Connor, Blake and Dawson; and her brothers, Keith Barkley (Dee) of Omaha and Charles Barkley (Sharon) of Cumberland, Iowa. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
