He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Wallis and Sybil Wallis (Edwards); his son Tim Wallis; and his siblings, Merry Green, Norma Turner, Milton and Virgil Wallis.
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Eunice Bell of Wytheville; his wife Dorothy Wallis of Mondamin; his sons, Gregg, Beverly Wallis of Woodbine and Jeff Wallis of Mondamin; and his siblings, Lyle Wallis of Pisgah, Iowa, Yvonne Clark of Richmond, Geraldine (Ron Heisterkamp), Carol (Richard Leeper), Suzann (Michael Tierney), Linda (Tim Faylor), Janice (Michael Gadberry), Kim (Jim Pruett) and Pam Miller of Nagcogdoches, Texas. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
