It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd Messenger of Woodbine, Iowa, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Messenger and Hazel Messenger (Sindt); and his siblings, Carl, Lyle, Ray, Merlin Messenger, Audrey Woodridge and Vera Curtis.
He is survived by: his wife Gerry Messenger of Woodbine; his children, Lori (Dan Kenton) of Vermillion, Jeff Messenger (Teresa) of St. Charles and Kelly (Tom Webster) of Lucas, Iowa; and his sister LaMoyne Hummel of Crane, Missouri. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
