She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Walter and Irene Gladys Cleveland (Boe); and her former husband Wally Welander. She is survived by: her children, Wendy Welander (Brad Bell) of Izmir, Wynn (Kevin Dau) of Denison and Marc Welander (Heather) of Omaha, Nebraska. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fouts Funeral Home- Woodbine (501 Normal St, Woodbine, IA 51579).
