He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoyt Vandemark and Marie Vandemark (Trimpe); his brothers, Charles Vandemark and Freeman Vandemark (Iva); his sister-in-law Donna Vandemark; and his grandson Justin Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Karolyn Vandemark of Woodbine; his daughter Wanda (Andy Stanard) of Omaha, Nebraska; his granddaughters, Kellee (Josh Springer) of Omaha and Jessica Stanard of Omaha; his great grandchild Owen; his brother Tommy Vandemark of Missouri Valley; and his sister-in-law Grace (John Shafer) of Missouri Valley. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
