She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Bertha Lea Tharp (Jeffries); her spouse LaVerne Kerger; and her brother Robert Keith Tharp. She is survived by: her children, Renee Hackett (Rollyn) of Logan, Tony Kerger (Kara Vallier) of Woodbine, Tom Kerger (LeeAnn Clark) of Woodbine and Tammy Kerger of Logan; her grandchildren, Tara, Jaden, Carson, Kody and Trevor; and her sister Virginia "Ginger" Tharp of Woodbine. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fouts Funeral Home- Woodbine (501 Normal St, Woodbine, IA 51579).
