He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Hanson and Harriet Hanson (Turner); his daughter Gaye Lynn Hanson; and his brother Loren Hanson. He is survived by: his children, Lori (James Hast) of Minden, David Hanson (Amy) of Council Bluffs and Christine Thailing of Omaha, Nebraska; his siblings, Madlyn (Darrell Blake) of Eatonville, Georgia and Lynn Hanson (Cheryl) of Sioux Falls; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou Hanson of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
