He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hardy and Annie Rea Hardy (Park); and his brothers, Arnold, Elton, Darrell and Larry Hardy.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Prussing of Woodbine; his children, Jesse Hardy (Heather) of Council Bluffs, Rachel (David Mahlberg) of Council Bluffs and Brandon "Bud" Hardy of Exira, Iowa; his granddaughters, Ashlynn, Brynlee and Felecia; and his brothers, Wayne Hardy of Woodbine and Robbie Hardy of Pocatello, Idaho. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fouts Funeral Home- Woodbine (501 Normal St, Woodbine, IA 51579). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
