He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Jr. (Colleen) of Maryland Heights and Merrill Watkins of Omaha; his grandchildren, Kris Immekus (Mark), Cynthia Simon of Maryland Heights, Mark Watkins (Sarah) of Omaha Nebraska and Merrill Scott Watkins (Marcy) of Maricopa Arizona; and his brother Kenneth Watkins of La Vista. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
