He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Watkins; and his sister Vivian Watkins. He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Jr. (Colleen) of Maryland Heights and Merrill of Omaha; and his grandchildren, Kris Immekus (Mark), Cynthia Simon of Maryland Heights, Mark Watkins (Sarah) of Omaha Nebraska and Merrill Scott Watkins (Marcy) of Maricopa Arizona. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brother.
