She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Gilbert and Eva Gilbert (Moldin); and her son Heath Lee "Jake" Sparks. She is survived by: her husband William Schaupp; her children, Crystal (Bill Shafer) of Woodbine, Iowa and Troy Davis (Sandy) of Odebolt, Iowa; and her sister Karen Kjeldgaard of Ozark, Alabama. She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
