We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2023, at the age of 90, Barbara Bendgen (Woodbine, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Leonard and Nellie Leonard (Butler); and her brother Kenneth Leonard (Bette). She is survived by: her husband Richard Bendgen of Woodbine; her children, Robert Bendgen (Patti) of Waukee, Jim Bendgen (Marcy) of Council Bluffs, Cheryl Bendgen of Woodbine, Rick Bendgen (Christy) of Hephzibah, Joe Bendgen (Karen) of Middleton and Chuck Bendgen (Mary) of Boynton Beach, Florida; and her sister Carol Brookhouser (Jim) of Lake Park, Georgia. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
