He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Wahlert and William Wahlert; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Daughenbaugh; his sons, Eric Wahlert (Celeste Borts), Spencer Wahlert (Jalynn Farmer) and Michael Fleming (Autumn Crecelius); his grandchildren, Dayona Wahlert, Echo Crecelius, Talon Fleming and Savana Fleming; his siblings, Joni Lea Bollinger (Bill) of Omaha, Marcy Lyn Blazek (Kevin) of Greenfield and Wylie Jay Wahlert (Jean Jessen) of Anita; and his aunts and uncles, Ray Wahlert of Wiota, Delores Templeman of Atlantic, Neil Aupperle of Anita and Marlene Aupperle Shannon of Maison.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Anita Community Center (805 Main St, Anita, IA 50020).
