We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2021, at the age of 84, Patricia Simmons of Wiota, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Loval Hughes and Mildred Hughes (Parson); and her husband Ralph Henry Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Robert Simmons of Wiota, IA, Ron Simmons (Vicki) of Sheffield, IA, Richard Simmons (Rosemary) of Ankeny, IA, Roger Simmons (Cindy) of Pekin, IL and Robin Scholl (Craig) of Ankeny, IA; her grandchildren, Audrey Simmons, Cole Simmons, Miranda Simmons, Kallie Kachel (Andrew), Devin Simmons, Nikki Simmons, Cheyanne Scholl, Savanna Scholl and Dakota Scholl; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Colton and Kade Kachel; and her son Dave Schwarte.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Simmons family to designate to charities at a later date.
