She was predeceased by: her father Vernon Ryan; her son Jesus; and her sister Diane Ryan. She is survived by: her mother Betty Ryan (Newcomb) of Winthrop; her children, Carlos Mejia (Amber) of Cedar Falls, Exiquio Roman (Alesha) of Clarksville, Fernando Mejia (Melissa) of Waterloo and Juan Mejia of Mexico; and her siblings, Bonnie, Sidney, Dwight, Harvey and Jeanette. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
