It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theodore Wieland of Winthrop, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlyn Wieland and Alberta Wieland; his children, Chris, Michael (Megan), Daniel (Krissy), Maresa and Lauren; his siblings, Dean Wieland and Mary Jo Sloan; his nephew David Sloan; and his granddaughter Amelia Claire Wieland.

He is survived by: his son David (Sarah); his wife Mary; his son Christopher (Erin); his siblings, Jeff, Paul Wieland and Paula Miller; his grandchildren, Kale, Graham, Sofia, Brielle, Evelyn, Alexander, Westin, Emerson, Elise, Braden, Eli, Theo and Anniston; and also, Bertch and Omega.

He demonstrated generosity in time, resources, love, and charity to his family, company, church, and community while asking nothing in return.
