He is survived by: his friend Tommy Thompson; his wife Nancy Murphy of Winthrop; his children, Raynae Zingg (Brett) of Winthrop, Jeff Murphy (Danette) of Clear Lake, Michael Murphy of Winthrop and Erin Murphy of Fort Myers, Florida; his grandchildren, Shelbi Murphy (Duane Fowlkes), Kayla Murphy (Kane Fairman), Zachary Zingg and Jenna Murphy; his great grandchildren, Jersi, Bentley and Tayden; his sisters, Cheryl Winter (Billie) of Strawberry Point, Patty Webster of Cedar Rapids and Kelly Murphy (Randy Jones) of Cedar Rapids; and his siblings-in-law, Billie Jean Kovalcheck of Pennsylvania, Chris Murphy of Independence, Tom Holcomb of California, Dick Griswold (Jane) of Winthrop and Bob Griswold (Kelly) of Winthrop.
