He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Thompson and Alice Thompson (Dencklau); his wife Mary "Jenny" Thompson; his daughters, Kathy Drew and Jennifer Thompson; and his siblings, Marleen Webb and Kelly Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, William Thompson (Rose), John Thompson (Debra) and Suzanne Richards; and his siblings, Karen Dorman, Diane Peeler, Lori Raymond and Keith Thompson (Susie).
