She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Workman and Verna Workman (Wright); her husbands, Richard Higgins and Al Long; her son Roger Higgins; her siblings, Archie Workman and Florence Ives; and her grandchildren, Bobby Higgins and Natalie.

She is survived by: her children, Richard E. Higgins, Jr. (Janet) of Mount Vernon, Ronda Higgins Harrington of Winthrop and Rosie Higgins Barker (David) of Winthrop. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren; Several Great Grandchildren, And Many Great Great Grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed in her name to Cedar Valley Hospice.
