She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Hickman and Sara Hickman (Hamilton); her husband Bertrand Louis "Jake" Gaffney; her son Steve Gaffney; her siblings, Robert Hickman, Don Hickman, Margaret Lamson and Mary Jean Halford; and her niece Michele Lamson.
She is survived by: her daughter Teri Brickley (Tom) of Cedar Rapids; her grandson Adam Brickley (Jessica) of Raymond; her great grandchildren, Cullen and Charlotte Brickley of Raymond; her daughter-in-law Ann Klever of Cedar Rapids; her sister-in-law Ann Hickman of Independence; and also, Kris Barz of Cedar Rapids, Cody and Tyler Barz of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 1 Niece and 2 Nephews.
