We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2025, at the age of 96, Violet Williamson (Winterset, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Violet has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Howard, Lon Williamson, Gary Williamson, Gayle Williamson and Arleen Williamson. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as many cherished family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blair Chapel Cemetery.
