She was predeceased by: her parents, Eljay Hathaway and Mary Jane Hathaway (Carvey); her siblings, Harlan Hathaway, Murry "Bob" Hathaway (Iola), Harold Hathaway (Betty), Charles "Chuck" Hathaway, Isabelle Griswold (Clarence), Ruth Evans (Roland), Rose Stuart (Jim), Flo Terry (John), Edith Poush (Dean), Patricia Murphy (Don) and Althea Housman (Floyd); and her daughter-in-law Connie Jean Benge.
She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, LeRoy Benge (Sue) of Winterset, Lyla Dunmire (Rick) of Winterset and Steve Benge of Winterset; and her brother-in-law Richard Petersen (Carolyn) of Maryville, MO. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; 11 step great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
