He is survived by: his children, Daniel Barker (Linda) of Winterset, IA, Julie Carlson (Jay) of Urbandale, IA, James Barker (Kristine) of Omaha, NE, Richard Barker (Michelle) of Clive, IA and Joseph Barker (Claire) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Maci Barker, Paige, Erika Carlson, Grace, Grant, Gabrielle Barker, Quinn Barker, Jack, Victor and Daniel Barker; his stepson Jimmie Haines (Harmony); his stepgrandchildren, Justin Porter, Mariah Clark, Keeyon Van Weelden and Cyana Van Weelden; and his brother Ronald Barker.
