He was predeceased by: his father Raymond "Jack" Hardy; his stepfather Mike Belluchi; his mother Louise Belluchi; his siblings, Jerry Belluchi and Deloris Gustin; his children, Nanette Hardy Caswell and Terry Powell; and his grandson Scott Roby.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Powell Hardy; his children, Dianna Wallace (Rodney) of Pleasant Hill, Rick Hardy (Carol) of Norwalk, Alan Powell (Linda) of Charles City and Steven Powell of Northwood; his sisters, Joan Dyer (Ted) of Pleasant Hill and Linda Allenduff (Jack) of Gladstone, MO.; and his pet Ellie. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 17 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
