It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Kirkland (Winterset, Iowa), born in Macksburg, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2018, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Cleve Wilmer Kirkland (Curly); and her siblings, Sam Thompson, John Thompson and Evelyn Harden. She is survived by: her daughter Patricia Kirkland; and her son-in-law Leonard Dose. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
