He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd, Frieda of Belmond, William and Ruby Arnold of Red Oak; and his aunts and uncles, Nick, Linda Sheehan of Belmond and Beverly Chambers of Indianola.
He is survived by: his daughter Sandra Jane of Urbandale; his parents, Dennis Jurgens and Jane Jurgens of Winterset; his brother Douglas of St. Charles; and his aunts and uncles, Lynn, Rebecca Jurgens of Forest City, Robert and Mary Arnold of McClelland. He is also survived by niece and nephew; and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273).
Memorials may be made to the family for a future designation.
