He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Alfred and Irma Florence Harpole (Wildin); his former wife Helen Foust; his children, Linda Diane (Dennis) of Patterson, IA and James Leo; his wife Maxine Snodgrass (Foust); his son Jim Harpole (Karen) of Newhall, IA; his son-in-law Mike Kirk of Ankeny, IA; his stepdaughter Doris Palmer (Gil) of Des Moines, IA.; his grandchildren, Bob Kraft (Terri), Brad Kraft (Karen), Andrea Howard (Brian), Kellee Hernandez (Ralph Torres), Ragan Victor, Kinzee Maschek (Matt), Dr. Bethany Fahrenthold (DP) and Laura King (Pastor Rodney); his great grandchildren, Tim, Jordan, Kayla, Caleb, Jose, Isiah, Lilly, Eli, Ella, Dani, Irene, Paul, Magdalena, Benjamin and Daniel; his great great grandchildren, Callie, Sadie, Katie, Oliver, Ivy, Anastasia and Camila; his siblings, Maxine Hull of Sigourney, IA, Jo Ann Allen of Winterset, Marshall Harpole (Georgie) of Winterset, IA, Merritt Harpole of Mabank, TX, Marilyn Osborn of Urbandale, IA, Steve Harpole (Joan Strange) of Cheyenne, WY and Brian Harpole (Kathy) of Longmont, CO; his sister-in-law Ruth Harpole of Minneapolis, MN; his daughter Karen Kaye Kirk; his siblings, Murray and Doris Lahner; his siblings-in-law, Les Lahner, Spencer Hull, Charlie Allen, Gary Osborn and Teddy Harpole; and also, Mark Stephens (Brenda), Michelle Stephens (Christine), Darrin Palmer (Samantha), Josh, Tanner, Ryan, Dean, Grayson, Asher, Camden, Roman and Leila.
