He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Snyder and Margaret G. Snyder (Hassler); and his siblings, Raymond Snyder, Harold Snyder, Irene Snyder, Rosalie Crawford, Pearl "Dolly" Greenslade, Dorothy Watters, Doris Greenslade and Violet Hawk.
He is survived by: his spouse Maris Thompson; his children, Doug Snyder (Dawn) of Burlington, Kathy Binns (Denny) of Winterset and Christy Rinard of Winterset; and his brother Larry Snyder (Dianne) of Buckeye, Arizona.
