She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hohertz and Christine Ehm Hohertz; her husband Ernest; her son John; her son-in-law Earl Mobley; her grandsons, Kent Mobley and Greg Stowell; her siblings, Arthur Hohertz, Don Hohertz and Margaret Krueger; and her siblings-in-law, Helen Hohertz, Florence Hohertz and Bernard Krueger.

She is survived by: her children, Shirley Mobley of Sioux City and Roger Stowell of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Kevin Mobley (Brenda) of Overland Park, KS and Kristi Rathje (Tom) of Seward, NE.; her great grandchildren, Katie Jensen (Kaleb), Spencer Mobley (Ashley), Grant Rathje, Morgan Mobley and Josie Rathje; her great great grandchildren, Charlotte, Samuel and Audrey Jensen; and her sister-in-law Lola Stowell of Greenfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
