With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Lockey of Winterset, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by : his mother Virginia Lockey. He is survived by : his father Larry Lockey (Janette); his children, Kasi Reed, Andrew Lockey (Ashley) and Jacob Lockey (Miranda); his grandchildren, Anabelle Turpen, Rosalei Reed, Holly Reed, Morgan Lockey, Brooklyn Lockey, Olivia Lockey, Bodhi Lockey, Nolan Lockey and Aiden Lockey; his siblings, John Lockey and Leanna Battreall; and his aunt Marlene. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hamilton's Southtown Funeral Home (5400 SW 9th St, Des Moines, IA 50315). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association in memory of David.
