He was predeceased by: his parents, William Newton and Constance Newton Gorsuch (Reynolds); his stepfather Max Gorsuch; his son Jeremiah Newton; and his brother Stephen Newton.
He is survived by: his son Joshua Jeremiah; his wife Marilyn Nordeen; his daughter Elena; his brother Bill Newton (Sandy) of Des Moines; and his sister-in-law Sonna Neumeister of Carver, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273).
