He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerrit Scholten (Gary) and Clara Scholten (Van Zandbergen); his wife Anne; his daughters, Carla Anne (Channing), Cathleen Cae Howe (Danlias), Laurel Lee (Jim), Michellen Annette Wildin (Brett) and Jacqueline Anita Thompson; his brothers, Rodney Scholten (Colleen) and Jerry Scholten (Audrey); his brother-in-law M. G. Waitt; his great grandchild William Scholten; his sister Beverly Waitt; and his grandson Gary Dutton.
Even in death Cliff will be educating others through the donation of his body to the University of Iowa.
