She was predeceased by: her parents, William McCarthy and Lura Jacobs McCarthy; her husband Lloyd; her son Robert; her brother William; her great grandchild Hannah Varner; her son-in-law Steve Strong; and her grandson-in-law Randy Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, William Smith (Susan), Linda Strong, Michael Smith, Diana Scar (Dwayne), Daniel Smith (Dawn) and Mark Smith (Laura); and her sister Marcella. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the family for a future designation.
