He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Mescher (Benson) and Paul Richard "Dick" Mescher; and his former wife Jill Cashatt. He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Mescher (Bosma); his children, Jenn Drake (Jason) and Zach Mescher (Nicole Lockett); his grandchildren, Natalie Drake (Ty Thompson), Callie Drake, Bodey Drake, Ethan Mescher and Alina Barkley; and his brothers, Rick Mescher (Linda) and Mike Mescher (Tracy). He is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Winterset Chapel (1823 N John Wayne Dr, Winterset, IA 50273). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calendar Foursquare Gospel Church (224 E Court Ave, Winterset, IA 50273).
