She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lawrence and Pearl Messer (Haifley); her husband Raymond Paul Schultz; her siblings, Fern Howell (Marion) and Charlie Messer (Dee); and her brother-in-law Ivan Lee.
She is survived by: her sisters, Pepsi, Peppermint Patties and Bernice Lee; her children, Edward Schultz (Joyce) of Muscatine, Darrell Schultz (Faye) of Mt. Pleasant, Teresa Sommer (Roger) of Winfield and Kathy Richardson (Stan) of Washington; her grandchildren, Jenny Schultz (Frank Ferrucci), Darrin Schultz, Jessica Harris (Jesse), Heidi Oschwald (Jordan), Leah Keenan (Devin), Sarah Buffington (Brad), Jake Sommer (Andrea), Erin Rugg (Shannon), Amanda Medrano (Jesse) and Emily Richardson; and her great grandchildren, Dylan, Alivia, Olivia, Emory, Jonas, Crosby, Lennon, Finley, Lance, Nora, James, Brandi, Isaac, Alayna, Blayze and Easton.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Sunrise Terrace.
