She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas F. DeCamp and Grace DeCamp (Wilson); her husband Leroy Gene Hickey; her son Randy; and her siblings, Medford DeCamp and Faye Allen.
She is survived by: her daughter Jill Tanking; her daughter-in-law Nikki Hickey of Winfield; her stepgranddaughter Misty Bruders of Winfield; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaya Day and John Day; and her siblings, Lowell DeCamp, Thomas DeCamp and June McKinzey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Burlington Model Airplane Club in memory of Verda.
