He is survived by: his parents, Ronnie Auken and Ruth Van Auken (Peters) of Winfield; his former wife Brenda Garcia; his daughters, Ava and Elena Garcia Van Auken of Iowa City; his sister Ronda Redlinger (Randy) of Winfield; his uncle Larry Van Auken; and his friend Jeff Krieger of Mt. Pleasant. He is also survived by nieces, great-nieces and cousins; and good friend.
