He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Hickey and Annie Alice Hickey (Pope); and his son Randy Hickey. He is survived by: his wife Verda DeCamp; his daughter-in-law Nikki Hickey of Winfield; his stepgranddaughter Misty Bruders of Winfield; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kaya Day and John Day; and his brother Dean Hickey (Janice) of Joliet, Illinois..
