He was predeceased by: his parents, William Raymond and Mildred Verlee Long (Meeker); and his siblings, Leland Long and Norma Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Bunker; his child Jerry Long (Susan) of Ames; his grandchildren, Allie, Levi and Clayton; his child Jacki Harris (Andy) of Ames; his grandchildren, Hannah, Bailey, Jade and Brock; his daughter Jana Leeney (Mike) of Aurora, CO; his grandson Carson; his great grandchildren, Dathan, Elsie, Nova, Brij, Ayla, Prim Tillie, Hal and Ariah; and also Marge Wuerker of Buffalo, WY.. He is also survived by The grandkids have many fond memories of Grandpa teaching about animal.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, funeral service and visitation for Gary will now be held privately.
