He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Melvin and Mildred Doris Rice (Loper); and his siblings, Robert, David, John and Hazel.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Boline; his sons, Traves Rice (Haley Timmerman) and Josh Rice (Hope); his grandchildren, Eli, Evan, Esme, Dante and Chloe; and his siblings, Daryl Rice (Denise) of Mediapolis, Rose Hicks of Burlington, Sandra Powell (Ronald) of Burlington and Daniel Rice (Gail) of Burlington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in Dennis' name for expenses.
