He is survived by: his wife Cindy Lou Heckethorn; his children, Brandi Dawn Carlton (Ray) of Highland, Danny Ray Brackey II (Rachel) of Mascoutah and Joshua Lee Brackey of St. Charles, Missouri; his granddaughters, Peyton Leigh Guthrie, Audrey Rae Brackey, Presley Shea Carlton and Madelyn Grace Brackey; his siblings, Rick Brackey (Kim) of Durant, Iowa, Colleen Brackey of Durant and Penny Ledbeter (Tom) of Charles City, Iowa; and his stepsisters, Carolyn Thureson (Bill) of Charles City and Patricia Winters of Delona, Minnesota. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
