He was predeceased by: his father Norman Walter; and his nephew Halen Lampe. He is survived by: his mother Janice Walter of Winfield; his former wife Angie Kelley; his children, Caleb Walter (Kala) of Grimes, Danielle Anderson (Logan) of Solon and Drew Walter (Fran Lathrop) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Graham Anderson, Drake Walter, Hadley Anderson, Sophie Walter, Marianna Walter and Josie Anderson; and his siblings, Dean Walter (Sharla), Kim Lampe (Tom) and Michelle Walter-Blodgett (Gina Hanshaw).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left to the family in memory of Brian.
